Well, whether you are going to introduce a business or are simply a full-time blogger, you are quite simply entering the world of internet marketing. And just to save you from disappointment, I would like to be really honest at this point, Internet marketing is tough. It can only be done right if you really target an audience for your blog and interact with them to know more about what they need, understand the services or products they might require. So, while writing your first blog post, keep your selected target audience in mind.
As you build your knowledge by reading far and wide you should Keep linking the blogs you like back to yours. This will help you build a network and also encourage people to link to you. Doing it this way makes it effortless and how blogging should be
3. Step 3: Ensure That it is Well-Structured
Your first blog post should be based on the traditional three-phase structure, starting with the introduction, followed by a body and ending with a conclusion. As mentioned in the first step, you need to introduce yourself and your business, therefore, the introduction of your first blog post should grab the reader’s attention and be informative. The body should contain the details of your business, targeting the needs of your audience and how you can help them. Finally, the conclusion should sum up your first blog post with a unique call-to-action. Make sure you get your personality out there. If your readers know you they will come back and start to trust you.
4. Step 4: Edit Before You Post
Once you are done with writing your first blog post, read it thoroughly and start editing. The editing phase may take up more time than the time taken to actually write the post. But this is normal and you want to ensure that all of the information written in your first blog post is properly structured and is clear enough for anyone to understand your key messages.
5. Step 5: Ask the Readers to Leave Feedback
I want to emphasise the importance of feedback this will help explode reader engagement. Although I mentioned it in step 3 I want to really labour this point as it’s what your blog will be built on. The concluding message in your first blog post should ask your readers to leave their feedback on what they liked or disliked about your post and if they have any questions on the content. Tailoring your future blog posts according to your readers’ feedback will largely affect the success of your blog and your business.
